THE TAP GUYS CLEANING PROCEDURE
The Tap Guys use a re-circulating line cleaning pump for long-draw systems that are 80 times more effective than the old fashioned traditional method.

VS

Every two weeks we clean beverage lines by using a circulation pressure pump system with a certified “Brewery Approved” detergent mix. We first push all beverages out of the lines and down the drain, then we add the detergent, letting the detergent circulate through every beverage line a minimum of 10 minutes. This may be longer depending on how many dark beers or drinks are on the tower or how dirty the beverage lines appear to be.
While we are cleaning the beverage lines, we remove all handles and faucets, then dissemble all faucets and soak all parts in solution. We then use 3 individual size brushes to clean all internal faucet parts and replace any washers or seals on an as needed basis. Once a month minimum, or sooner if needed, we soak and scrub all tavern heads so they are free of mold and bacteria buildup.

All our employees are Micro-Matic Certified. We are classified as Draught Beverage Dispense Specialists.
